Which inspection method is the right one?
Describe your project to us. We will let you know which inspection is required and what it entails.
Process
From order to reliable inspection report.
An inspection is only as good as its traceability. That is why, before we even begin, we define exactly what is being inspected, which regulations apply to the evaluation, and who is qualified to perform the inspection.
01
Order clarification
Scope of inspection, applicable regulations, and site access
02
Inspection planning
Inspection instructions, procedures, and inspector qualifications
03
On-site inspection
On-site execution, using rope access or drones if necessary
04
Evaluation
Comparison of findings and measured values with standard and target values.
05
Inspection report
Findings, assessment, and recommendations for action, delivered ready for sign-off
Documentation
Every finding, every measurement, verifiable in docBox.
An inspection report must remain understandable even years later. That is why our inspectors record every finding directly at the asset using our proprietary app, rather than relying on memory to write it down on paper in the evening.
Data capture directly at the asset: inspection logs, photos, and measurements are recorded where they occur, even offline.
Comprehensive rather than random: every finding is located on technical drawings, making it easy to identify and retrieve.
Analysis in your own dashboard: Defect patterns and clusters are analyzed instead of getting lost in individual reports.
Ready for sign-off: You receive the complete inspection report at the end of the project, not weeks later.

Why mh² inspection
Independent in judgment. Experienced in approach.
An inspection is only reliable if the inspector has no interest in the outcome. That is why we perform inspections exclusively and do not carry out any maintenance or repairs ourselves.
Independence
We inspect, we do not repair. This means our findings are not driven by the prospect of follow-up work, but solely by the condition of your facility.
Qualification and experience
Our inspectors possess the necessary qualifications for the procedures used and have been applying them to the same types of structures for years.
Strong project management
We manage all deadlines, interfaces, and reports from our onshore office. For you, this means one single point of contact instead of dealing with multiple site contacts.
Offshore professionals
All relevant offshore qualifications and safety training are in place and up to date. Weather, transfers, and tight time windows are part of our daily routine, not the exception.
Loyal, committed, reliable
We stick to our deadlines, even when the campaign schedule is tight. And if something isn't feasible, we tell you beforehand, not after the fact.
A collaborative problem solver
If the findings differ from the drawings, we won't leave you to deal with it alone. We interpret what they mean and advise you on the next steps.
Featured projects
Projects we are particularly proud of.
Sister company —
Repair. From the same group.
Whatever we identify during an inspection, our sister company mh² offshore can repair upon request. These are commissioned separately to ensure the inspection remains independent.
Modification & Repair
Steel construction, welding technology, assembly, and bolting technology on the facility
Maintenance & Servicing
BoP maintenance as well as servicing of foundations and platforms
Corrosion protection
Spot repair of defects identified during our coating inspection

Careers
For us, inspection means taking responsibility for every finding.
We are looking for inspectors and rope access technicians who look closely and stand by their findings, even when they are inconvenient. We are looking for permanent team members, not just for a single campaign.
Tell us what needs to be inspected.
Send us the facility details, the reason for the inspection, and your timeframe. We will get back to you as soon as possible with a reliable assessment.
